WE CAN’T BELIEVE winter is nearly over! Our team has had such a blast, and the time has flown by. That’s why we want to share some of our favorite winter adventures with you, as well as some of our plans for the spring!
Although this winter has been a bit different due to COVID, the team at London Endodontics still made the best of it. We can all agree that we spent a majority of our time outdoors. Winter hikes and tobogganing were on the top of our list of things we did! London offers a ton of trails to explore and in the winter they are beautiful. Ice skating on local ponds this year was a first for a few of our members and their kids, along with building snowmen. Some of us attempted to be crafty with wood burning and macramé, while others used this time to get caught up on home projects that were being put off. Winter blues and COVID stress were a common concern for all but we all kept on top of it with physical activity; whether we were working out or trying to get our daily walks in.
Our spring plans currently all depend on the status of the pandemic and like the rest of London, we are not planning too far ahead. Most of our team members love spending time in our gardens. We predict lots of trips to Heemans, to grab flowers and plants for our veggie gardens. Weekends will also be spent outdoors hiking and biking and fingers crossed, maybe on a local patio. A few of our members are hoping outdoor activities will be open this year for the kids to explore interactive places such as clovermead and kustermans; two favorite spots to visit. We are also looking forward to BBQ season starting up and being able to visit outdoor farmers markets. Our staff, just like the rest of London, are excited for spring because better weather means being able to socially distance outside with family and friends. Spring is also a sign of new beginnings and we are all hopeful that spring is a sign that we are all closer to the end of this pandemic.
We’ve told you what we plan on doing for spring, but what about you? We’d love to hear about what your plans are, so share with us in the comments or on Facebook!
We hope all our patients have a wonderful spring!
